Clean Creek Revival Removes a Record!

The largest waterway clean-up in Alachua rides again.

Our annual St. Patrick’s Day tradition of working hard before we party hard resulted in another banner day for Gainesville waterways.

After another epic day of cleaning up local waterways, we have no removed over 31,000 pounds of trash since beginning our partnership with Current Problems.

Volunteers met at the brewery bright and early before heading out to their designated creeks and rivers to pick up trash. Once these incredible trash-warrior volunteers finished up, they brought their haul back to the brewery to be weighed before enjoying pizza and a well deserved beer.

Prizes were awarded for most trash collected, strangest item, and more! Once the work was done, we celebrated with a a full St. Patrick’s Day festival including multiple beers like our Kee-Wee Sour (our take on a green beer) and traditional Irish Fare from Bubba Luigi’s Road Trip!
